Breaking News: Cyclone Nilofar is hitting Gujarat Saurashtra Kutch: October 29, 2014
As we all know Cyclone Nilofar in Arabian Sea/Ocean is about to hit Gujarat State. The whole Gujarat State and Saurashtra-Kutch is on high alert since last three days. On 29th October 2014, Today in the morning 9:00am the Cyclone Nilofar was found almost 900 kms far from Naliya (Gujarat). The Cyclone Nilofar is now moving North Eastwards at the speed of 10 kmph (at 10:00am).

The Cyclone Nilofar is expected to attack Gujarat with 160 to 180 kmph speed which may harm the infrastructures as well as the human lives in Gujarat. The Government of Gujarat has barred the fishermen from going into the sea since the News of Cyclone Nilofar heard. The Government of Gujarat has set an Emergency Number as 1077 for any emergency arise due to Cyclone Nilofar.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has deployed 14 Rescue and Relief Teams in Gujarat to face and cope with Cyclone Nilofar. The NRDF Rescue Team includes around 550 personnel. The Cyclone Nilofar is at 450 kms distance from Oman, Sultanate. The Cyclone Nilofar is now moving towards Coastal Areas of Sindh with Dull Intensity.
